LEGO 2234-1 Police Chase is a Town Promotional set released in 1998, containing 146 pieces and 5 minifigures. The set includes three vehicles, consisting of a police car, a red civilian car, and a blue V8 car, along with a trike, a trailer, two road baseplates with signs and trees, and a small police station with a drive-thru window. Its minifigure selection includes a female police officer, and the set also features several printed elements specific to the release. Police Chase was distributed in Germany through a promotion with Tchibo stores, and it is one of the first LEGO sets, together with 6332 Command Post Central, to include a female police officer minifigure.

“LEGO set 2234 "Police Chase" is an obscure promotional set that feels like a quirky time capsule from the 90s. While the vehicles are mostly uninspired, rehashed designs from other sets, it does feature a unique police station that amusingly resembles a drive-thru cafe—an odd and memorable detail. Despite its lackluster building experience and simplistic design, it offers rare parts like exclusive printed bricks and road baseplates.”
