LEGO 242-2 5 Danish Flags is a System i Leg Supplemental set released in 1958, containing 5 pieces. It includes five white flag elements on flagpoles with the Denmark pattern in a waving style without a bottom lip, used as accessory parts for builds. The set was distributed only in Denmark. It is closely related to set 1242D-1 5 Danish Flags from the same period and uses the “White Flag on Flagpole, Wave with Denmark Pattern – No Bottom Lip” variant. Based on current trends, this set could be valued near $142 within the next year.

About System i Leg Supplemental

Starting in the 1950s LEGO began individual parts sales, a practice that began with the Ferguson Tracktor in 1951. LEGO would supply dealers with wooden parts boxes and refill packs. These individual part sales would continue, at least in some markets, into the late 1950’s.

Supplemental consists of 68 sets that ran from 1955 to 1959. As of today, 214-4 Windows and Doors Retailer Pack is the most valuable Supplemental set with an estimated new/factory sealed value of $805.
