LEGO 2991 Pooh and the Honeybees is a Duplo Winnie the Pooh set released in 2001, containing 11 pieces and 1 figure. The set includes a Winnie the Pooh DUPLO figure and basic bricks, featuring a yellow 1 x 2 x 2 brick printed with two bees and a 2 x 2 brick with a LEGO logo pattern. It was packaged in a transparent plastic canister with a lid shaped like an armchair. The build is a small character scene using primary-colored DUPLO elements.

Based on current trends, this set could be valued near $39 within the next year.

Pooh and the Honeybees (2991-1) is a very old and rare LEGO set. It has not been available online or in retail stores in good/new condition for over 2 years. Because of its scarcity, the current estimated value of in new condition of $36.75 may be much lower than its true market value. Released in 2001, sealed sets in good condition are especially difficult to find, often commanding a premium well above estimates.

Insights

Released in 2001 and now retired, Pooh and the Honeybees is a small Duplo Winnie the Pooh starter whose nostalgia for the character and distinctive canister packaging have made sealed examples comparatively scarce, and recurring Pooh reissues temper the long-term upside.
