“This holiday Lego was released in 2017 and I’m still trying to figure out what’s going on with this Santa’s beard. I understand that in Lego it’s difficult to recreate certain things but this blocky beard gives this St Nick a very sinister appearance. I have Lego Santa... More figures myself. Every single one looks far more appealing than this eye-catching hospital mask wearing disaster.”

“It's delightful little set that would make an ideal stocking filler, and is of course an essential purchase for collectors of polybags. For a polybag it's quite a substantial build. Its 74 pieces, mostly bricks, plates and slopes, combine to build Santa Claus, who stands... More 8cm/3" high, his sack, and three gifts.”

About Seasonal Christmas

Christmas is the Seasonal subtheme for LEGO's holiday sets, and new ones come out every autumn. The earliest are small Santa builds from 1999. Many of the smaller sets are given free with purchases in November and December rather than sold, which is how 40410 Charles Dickens Tribute, a scene from A Christmas Carol, reached most people in 2020.

Christmas was introduced in 1999 and currently consists of 120 sets. As of today, 40489 Mr. and Mrs. Claus' Living Room is the most valuable Christmas set with an estimated new/factory sealed value of $279.
