Playing with Bricks
“For an original retail price of $9.99 USD, you got a 179 piece set complete with three different minifigures (two kids, one boy and one girl, with the stumpy legs and one adult female figure). I love the various sweater / sweatshirt torso prints in the set, all of them are... More perfect for a wintery scene. In the end, I found this set to be a joy to build and display, despite a couple of the smaller components having their own issues.”

About Seasonal Christmas

Christmas is the Seasonal subtheme for LEGO's holiday sets, and new ones come out every autumn. The earliest are small Santa builds from 1999. Many of the smaller sets are given free with purchases in November and December rather than sold, which is how 40410 Charles Dickens Tribute, a scene from A Christmas Carol, reached most people in 2020.

Christmas was introduced in 1999 and currently consists of 120 sets. As of today, 40489 Mr. and Mrs. Claus' Living Room is the most valuable Christmas set with an estimated new/factory sealed value of $279.
Summary
Seasonal Christmas Christmas Town Square set 40263 was released on October 2, 2017, retailing for $10, it has since been retired. New, unopened sets are valued at $32, while used sets sell around $19.
