The Brothers Brick
“The set includes a nice variety of parts, including a fair bit of pearl gold, though we did notice some inconsistency in the coloring of the gold pieces. It’s quite a fun build, with lots of studs-out details and odd-width sections attached via half-stud-offset connections.... More As a display model, I expect to see this lovely figure on many a LEGO fan’s mantel for years to come.”

The Brick Fan
“In my opinion, the limited edition LEGO Seasonal Nutcracker (40254) is a great little set that looks faithful to their wooden counterparts. The completed build is actually bigger than I expected and makes a nice item for the mantle. Like with the modern nutcrackers, this... More LEGO version also can not crack nuts and there’s even a warning on the box stating it.”
