Jays Brick Blog
“There are plenty of great details, and we also get a Santa minifigure (with dual-molded legs) as well as a worker Elf. At 329 pieces, it’s a decently-sized set, and the workshop is packed with presents and toys. LEGO have also managed to integrate a movable toy conveyor belt... More into it which is pretty clever.”

Brick Fanatics
“The set, built on a 12 x 14 base, depicts Santa’s Workshop in full flow. The front of the set has the appearance of a barn, with two large, opening doors. The side wall has a toy conveyer belt which leads outside. The other two sides of the build are open to leave the... More workshop on display, while there is the ‘suggestion’ of a roof.”

About Seasonal Christmas

Christmas is the Seasonal subtheme for LEGO's holiday sets, and new ones come out every autumn. The earliest are small Santa builds from 1999. Many of the smaller sets are given free with purchases in November and December rather than sold, which is how 40410 Charles Dickens Tribute, a scene from A Christmas Carol, reached most people in 2020.

Christmas was introduced in 1999 and currently consists of 120 sets. As of today, 40489 Mr. and Mrs. Claus' Living Room is the most valuable Christmas set with an estimated new/sealed value of $279.
