Insights

Limited to a short, exclusive run and retired in 2023, Penguin (40498) draws most of its demand around the Christmas season and is attractive as a seasonal display piece, and its lack of exclusive minifigures plus small-set volatility suggest measured upside rather than outsized long-term gains.

Set Facts

The set features a Christmas Penguin LEGO model on a display platform accompanied by a Christmas tree and 3 wrapped presents.
The Christmas Penguin toy stands over 4.5 in. (12 cm) tall and can rotate and move its wings.
Penguin was designed by LEGO designer Nina Koopmann.
