“This set stacks up to set number 40601 and continues to bring older creations into the modern age. It’s a remake of a nearly 30-year old set, including 365 pieces and a pair of minifigures. There’s of course the magician Majisto himself, who is complemented by a knight. The... More LEGO Group has been opting to recreate some beloved creations from the past as its recent gift with purchase models, and the latest release to take that approach is certainly channeling some nostalgia.”

“Majisto's workshop is a relatively substantial building, reaching a height of 19cm and matching the size of 40567 Forest Hideout. The steep roof slopes are attractive and I like the proportions of this structure. This set seemingly adheres closely to its original equivalent... More from 1993, which is reasonable given the distinctive appearance of the earlier model.”
