Insights

A gift-with-purchase promotional from 2026, Lion Dance (40915) draws from the Chinese Traditional Festivals subtheme and pairs holiday display appeal with limited distribution, and while that combination supports collector interest its post-release growth has been modest rather than dramatic.

Jays Brick Blog

“The set features 2 brick-built Lion Dance costumes and 4 minifigures, and for the first time, the costumes are realistic in the sense that LEGO have managed to squeeze two minifigures inside to mimic the real thing, which are a staple of Lunar New Year celebrations.”

BrickEconomy Expert Review

“The Lion Dance set features two large, intricately built lion figures with layered shaping, bold color separation, and expressive printed elements that give each build a strong visual presence. The internal structure is thoughtfully designed to accommodate two minifigures per lion, maintaining clean exterior proportions while supporting the display concept. A well-matched minifigure selection and cohesive color palette reinforce the set’s polished, display-focused presentation.”
