Blocks Magazine Issue 32
“Big, bold and stuffed with useful parts, the latest Technic plane has plenty to offer. Despite the branding as a ‘race jet’, it rather resembles a fighter craft. Either way, it is a great looking model, and notably large. In fact, the Air Race Jet’s heft does make for a... More slightly cumbersome plaything. As a display piece, however, it is superb.”
Ninja Brick
“The functions are downright brilliant in the LEGO Air Race Jet set. They can move nine different elements, all using the same motor. However, the design of the jet isn't. The cockpit seems way too big and the wings and fins are ridiculous. The top fins are bigger than the... More wings and have this weird beam extending from each of them. The amount of mechanisms is amazing and is a testament to the designer's ingenuity.”
