Ultralight Helicopter Reviews
Is this LEGO set a good investment?
“For a Technic set, Ultralight Helicopter has been significantly outperforming the theme with a expected annual return of 9.8%. Considering the average annual return for a majority of Technic sets is typically around 4%, this happens to be an investible set with good returns.”

“This is an excellent set for someone starting out in Technic, and a good parts pack for others. Really I think a set this small could have got away with just the rotor, adding the rudder, and having the alternate use a flat engine instead of an inline is excellent as well.”
BrickEconomy Member Review
“The B-model of the Ultralight Helicopter (42057-1) offers a straightforward and enjoyable build, with clear instructions and no need for extra parts from the A-model. The aircraft’s quirky design, especially with the outlandish wings and oversized engine, gives it a unique charm when stickers are applied, though it looks plain without them. While the propeller function feels somewhat limited due to the lack of connection with the wheels, the model is good.”

About Technic

TECHNIC is one of The LEGO Company's main lines based on creating detailed model machines and mechanical toys with specialized beams, axles, gears and connectors and primarily designed for older children and adults. The theme was first introduced as the Expert Builder series in 1977, but was officially renamed as TECHNIC in 1984. TECHNIC is still an active theme, and is one of the longest running themes in LEGO history. While most TECHNIC sets are vehicles that use pieces to mimic real vehicles, such as engine pieces, suspension, pneumatic, and transmission pieces, the TECHNIC parts have been used by various other System themes as well as LEGO Mindstorms.
