“This LEGO Racers set offers a fun and innovative play experience with its car-launching mechanism and unique minifigure-ejection feature. The lime green and black color scheme looks great, and while the set is simple with only a few pieces, it includes useful parts that later appeared in other Racers sets like Tiny Turbos. The elastic-powered launcher doubles as a garage when not in use, adding versatility. Though minimal in features, this affordable set is easy to build and enjoyable for racing and crashing fun.”
 

About Racers Xalax

LEGO Xalax, also know as Crash 'em Racers was a Racers subtheme which was introduced in 2001 and discontinued the same year. These sets used special Xalax Figures which were not minifigure scale. The Xalax Figures were customized figures that were slightly taller then an average LEGO bricks, but still shorter than 4 plates high. Most Xalax sets included eight pieces since they were just different modifications of the same car.

Xalax was introduced in 2001 and currently consists of 16 sets. As of today, 4578 Ghost is the most valuable Xalax set with an estimated new/factory sealed value of $286.
