BrickEconomy Expert Review
“Overall, it's a set that balances collectibility and design complexity, offering a nostalgic nod to the Basic boxes of the 1980s, and is especially valued for its unique minifigures and potential for creative building. Notably appreciated by AFOLs (Adult Fans of LEGO) for its rarity of ordinary women minifigures.”

About Bricks and More

The LEGO Bricks and More theme, which was active from around 2006 to 2014, was a successor to the earlier FreeStyle and ake and Create themes. The primary goal of the Bricks and More theme was to provide sets that were centered around basic building. Rather than focusing on specialized pieces or intricate themed models, Bricks and More emphasized open-ended creativity with more generic LEGO bricks and simple building concepts.
Summary
Bricks and More House Building Set set 5899 was released on December 4, 2009, retailing for $10, it has since been retired. New, unopened sets are valued at $14, while used sets sell around $8.
