About Adventurers Dino Island

Dino Island was an Adventurers subtheme released in 2000 and was based on the story line where the explorers discover a new mysterious island and discover that there are dinosaurs living on the island. Characters/minifigures in the Dino Island theme include Johnny Thunder, Mr. Cunningham, Dr. Charles Lightning, Baron von Barron and many other Adventurers' characters in addition to dinosaurs.

Dino Island was introduced in 2000 and currently consists of 17 sets. As of today, 5987 Dino Research Compound is the most valuable Dino Island set with an estimated new/factory sealed value of $557.
