Steve's LEGO Blog
“Another little cart, only this time, it features a couple of Crusaders rather than a civilian. The most exciting element of this set is actually rather mundane by today’s standards, the bow; this item was new out this year and alongside the quiver, spear, horse, flags,... More wheels, shield and saddle, this year was very exciting with a great number of new elements.”

“Horse Cart, released in 1984, was the first cart for the Lion Knights. This set also include a horse and saddle, an archer, a driver/soldier, a round shield, and various weapons.”

About Castle Lion Knights

The Lion Knights were released the same year as the Black Falcons in 1984. As with the Black Falcons, LEGO never officially named this faction for some time, although catalogues in the United States and Australia used the name Lion Knights while Canada used Lion Crest. The Lion Knights were in open conflict with the Forestmen, as shown by several catalog settings.

Lion Knights consists of 19 sets that ran from 1984 to 2014. As of today, 6080 King's Castle is the most valuable Lion Knights set with an estimated new/factory sealed value of $3,983.
Summary
