“The second Impulse set released was called the harbour sentry; this set came with an actual boat and cannon as well as a swell blue minifig and a full complement of weaponry, also not to be overlooked the beautiful flag. The hat that comes with it is also quite rare... More (released only in this set I believe) so overall the set is very nice.”

“As the smallest set of the Soldier line, you probably wouldn't expect much from the Harbor Sentry and that assumption would be right. It is a small rowboat with one soldier. The main feature is the cannon mounted on a 4x4 turntable in the rear of the boat. The cannon can... More swivel, but not very far. Its path is blocked by the Soldier flag on one side and the soldier himself on the other.”

About Pirates Imperial Guards

Imperial Guards was a Pirates subtheme introduced in 1989 that eventually replaced the Imperial Soldiers as main adversaries of the pirates. Some of the older Imperial Soldiers' sets that were still in production were re-categorized as part of the Imperial Guards faction until their discontinuation in 1995.

Imperial Guards consists of 9 sets that ran from 1989 to 1995. As of today, 6277 Imperial Trading Post is the most valuable Imperial Guards set with an estimated new/factory sealed value of $2,342.
