“This set is often seen as a legendary set from the initial pirate range, a lot of people like the small building on the left which was seen by many as a tavern. This set also features an almost unique minifig, (he is the pirate in the jail) his name was Will and he was also... More featured in the pirate comic, he basically consisted of an all red pirate with an old classic smiley face.”

“The Lagoon Lockup has a great, functional design without any weird "ideas" from the LEGO design team. I think it's almost flawless, and it's still one of the most popular Classic Pirate sets out there. The only thing missing is some sort of feature like a trap, or hidden... More room.”
