Insights

Released in the early 1980s and now long retired, Summer Cottage (6365) draws on Classic Town nostalgia and limited sealed supply, which has supported post-retirement appreciation, and collectors should note thin transaction volume and sensitivity to condition that can produce volatility.

BrickEconomy Member Review

“The 1981 Summer Cottage is a detailed LEGO Town set that showcases thoughtful design elements, including shutters that open and close, a rare 16x22 baseplate, and unique stickers for the oven and refrigerator. The included minifigure features a torso and hairstyle combination exclusive to this set. Its classic European-style roof and functional interior details, like the chimney aligned with the stove and a cozy bedroom, make it a standout among early LEGO houses.”
