“With a crane, an Explorien figure, and some interesting space parts, this makes for a nice small space set. While the wheels could have been re-worked, the crane with magnet was a nice touch.”

It has most of the pieces and features that distinguished Exploriens from other Space themes, most notably the magnet function, and the vehicle itself is sturdy. It would have been nice if the astronaut had room to sit... More down on the vehicle, but for a set of this price and type, it's hard to complain.”

The Exploriens Space subtheme introduced in 1996. The story was based on the eponymous Exploriens, a group of civilian space explorers searching for fossils. A total of 9 sets were created and the subtheme was discontinued that same year.
