“Nice little ship. I prefer closed cockpits, but in general this is a good set. It looks a little bulkier thasn a lot of ships of it's size, but I prefer to think that that's because it's modified to deal with a cold atmosphere, as opposed to a near vacuum. Oh, check out the... More use of a Boat Bow plate for the front.”

About Space Ice Planet 2002

Ice Planet 2002 was a LEGO Space subtheme released in 1993 and released sets in two waves over a two year period before it was discontinued in 1994. A total of 10 sets were released. The Ice Planet 2002 story is based on a civilian space affiliation led by Commander Cold where they were conducting top secret research in rocket science on the hostile and icy setting of the ice planet Krysto.

Ice Planet 2002 consists of 10 sets that ran from 1993 to 1998. As of today, 6973 Deep Freeze Defender is the most valuable Ice Planet 2002 set with an estimated new/factory sealed value of $857.
