The set builds a research station on a unique raised baseplate exclusive to this set, along with a rocket transporter truck, a crane-equipped launchpad, two rockets with deployable satellites, and a small sled. The rockets use magnet elements so the crane can lift them from the transporter to the launch area. Minifigures include two Ice Planet Astronauts and Commander Cold, and the set was also marketed as Ice Station Krysto in some regions.
