“Like many of the bad guys across the Mario games, many of them have variants. This includes the Shy Guy, who can also take the skies in it’s Fly Guy form. It’s basically the same character with a small propeller on its head. Which is also the case for the LEGO version, the... More overall build of Fly Guy matches that of the Shy Guy found in the Boomer Bill Barrage expansion pack.”

“Fly Guy is a variant of Shy Guy, who appeared in 71366 Boomer Bill Barrage, but with a propeller on his head. He can be defeated with a single scan. This new plate has been used in its body instead of 2x2 corners and 1x2s which seems to be a bit unnecessary in this instance... More but perhaps it was designed for more useful application elsewhere.”

About Super Mario Character Pack Series 2

This is the second series of Character Packs (71386). A random figure is included in each pack. Figures include Huckit Crab, Spiny Cheep Cheep, Ninji, Foo, Parachute Goomba, Para-Beetle, Poison Mushroom, Thwimp, Fly Guy and Bone Goomba. These characters are designed to be used with a Starter Course set, which is required for interactive play.

Character Pack Series 2 was introduced in 2021 and currently consists of 13 sets. As of today, Character Pack Series 2 Sealed Box is the most valuable Character Pack Series 2 set with an estimated new/factory sealed value of $113.
