“Of all of the Batman theme sets from Lego with minifigures, this is the only Batman set that doesn't have a minifigure of Batman, which I find to be a relief after all the other sets and having multiple variations of him. The minifigures you do have are Robin and Penguin. If... More you like Batman with his sidekick, this is one of the sets to get pick up and have. Also giving nods to Batman Returns are the two little penguin builds, both of which are armed to battle Robin and Batman.”

About Batman

The original LEGO Batman theme was first released in 2006 and lasted until 2008 and features 15 sets, magnets, videos, books as well as toys released by McDonald's. Batman has been re-introduced in 2012 as part of the DC Super Heroes theme. The theme is based on Batman: The Animated Series but also include elements from other Batman universes, such as the Tumbler from the Christopher Nolan films. However, each set, aside from The Batcave: The Penguin and Mr. Freeze's Invasion, is based on scenarios that occurred on the show where each set features Batman fighting a villain.
