“I think this is a pretty good set. One unfortunate oversight is that the figures wear flippers and thus cannot connect to the inside of the sub with the flippers, but you could just take the flippers off.”

“This set works out great and perfectly for providing the Atlantean Divers a mobile or stationary base of operations while they explore the deep ocean for Atlantis. The Exploration HQ also folds up solidly into a sub and is well built so as not to be flimsy as I feared it... More might have been at first. So after you get done with the build, you realize it was well worth your $50.”

About Atlantis

The Atlantis was a theme introduced in 2010 whose story line is about a group of explorers that are searching the sea floor for the eponymous lost city of Atlantis from ancient myths. The theme reprises several elements from earlier underwater LEGO themes including Aquazone, Divers and Aqua Raiders. The Atlantis theme also has a more elaborate back story than its predecessors, showcased on a dedicated website. Each of the sets are equipped with a wide array of red futuristic underwater vehicles with light green viewports and weaponry.
