The LEGO ExoForce Golden City theme is a part of the larger ExoForce theme, shifting the narrative to a gleaming, advanced city setting. This theme presents new sets and mechs tailored for operations within this cityscape, extending the conflict between human pilots and the robot opposition. The sets blend the mechanical elements typical of ExoForce with architectural features of the Golden City.

Golden City was introduced in 2007 and currently consists of 15 sets. As of today, 8108 Mobile Devastator is the most valuable Golden City set with an estimated new/factory sealed value of $525.

The newest battle machine designed for use by Iron Drones, the Claw Crusher is also mass-produced much as the Sentry was previously. Also like the Sentry, it is considered expendable by the robots – therefore armor is sacrificed in favor of better armament. Claw Crushers are designed to attack en masse – so where one by itself might not seem overly formidable, dozens or hundreds working together are almost unbeatable.
