The LEGO ExoForce Golden City theme is a part of the larger ExoForce theme, shifting the narrative to a gleaming, advanced city setting. This theme presents new sets and mechs tailored for operations within this cityscape, extending the conflict between human pilots and the robot opposition. The sets blend the mechanical elements typical of ExoForce with architectural features of the Golden City.

Also like the Sentry, it is considered expendable by the robots – therefore armor is sacrificed in favor of better armament. Claw Crushers are designed to attack en masse – so where one by itself might not seem overly formidable, dozens or hundreds working together are almost unbeatable.
