“It comes with no instructions whatsoever, just a poster advert with a few pictures of the beast and the other sets. The side of the box offers these clues as to how to build it, but that's all you get. It's all arms and legs and, frankly, looks ridiculous. Despite the... More flexibility the joints provide, the legs don't really pose very well at all and it took ages of fiddling to get it to stand on all fours.”

Its standout feature is the detailed, exclusive head mold inspired by the Bogue creatures from the show, alongside a unique array of crimson-colored pieces and rare elements. While it feels more like a parts pack than a cohesive figure, it offers great value for mock builders or Galidor enthusiasts. Despite its oddity, the Oni is worth considering for its creative potential and ties to the Galidor lore.”

About Galidor

The Galidor was based on the CGI science fiction TV series Galidor from Fox Kids and ABC Family and was released in 2002. Production of the show was partially funded by LEGO, which produced sets to go along with the show. The sets were based on a simplified action-figure structure vaguely similar to BIONICLE. Each Galidor set contained an action figure composed of about a dozen parts, connected by standard pins and featured a "glinching" (a power held by the denizens of the Outer Dimension that enables them to switch analogous limbs with each other) limb-switching ability that formed the core mechanic of the Galidor sets.
