LEGO 8319 Aquart is a Galidor figure set released in 2002, containing 11 pieces. It builds a reptilian Aquart character from the Galidor TV series, featuring articulated limbs and a retractable suction-cup hand. The figure uses orange and red elements with molded and printed torso detailing. In the series, the Aquarts are portrayed as antagonists. “The GALLIDOR A Quarte figure has some interesting features, like its detailed sculpting and a functional suction cup arm, but it doesn’t quite live up to its potential. The limited articulation, particularly in the ankles, and some inconsistencies between the box art and the figure itself are disappointing. While it’s a unique piece, it might not justify the effort or cost to track down unless you’re a dedicated GALLIDOR fan.”
 

About Galidor

The Galidor was based on the CGI science fiction TV series Galidor from Fox Kids and ABC Family and was released in 2002. Production of the show was partially funded by LEGO, which produced sets to go along with the show. The sets were based on a simplified action-figure structure vaguely similar to BIONICLE. Each Galidor set contained an action figure composed of about a dozen parts, connected by standard pins and featured a "glinching" (a power held by the denizens of the Outer Dimension that enables them to switch analogous limbs with each other) limb-switching ability that formed the core mechanic of the Galidor sets.
