BrickEconomy Expert Review
“The 852753 LEGO Vintage Minifigure Collection Vol 4, later reissued as 5000440-1, presented a nostalgic array of characters. The set included a 1978 Castle Knight, a 1984 Blue Space minifigure, a 1987 Blacktron figure, a 1990 Forestman, and a 1998 Santa Claus. This diverse collection underscored the wide-ranging appeal and the joy that LEGO minifigures have offered throughout the years.”
BrickEconomy Expert Review
“The inclusion of Classic Space figures, such as the blue spaceman, in many sets appears to be a nod to LEGO's heritage, appealing to nostalgia but not significantly valued by all collectors. This set's appeal lies in its diversity, offering a Forest-Man and the first Black-Tron figure, which are highlights for those lacking these characters in their collections. Additional figures like Santa and a first castle man add value.”
