The buildable figure represents Umbra, a light-powered guardian of the Mask of Life and a servant of the Order of Mata Nui. Features include ultra-speed skates, a dual-strobe sword with a light-up function, and a Rhotuka spinner with a launcher. In the United States it was sold exclusively at Walmart in Special Edition packaging.

“Okay, so almost all the pieces can be found in previous sets, but Umbra isn't too bad of a set. If you're wanting this set for new pieces, the only new ones you'll find are the wheels, but if you're a compl etist or a MOCist, as usual, no one has to tell you whether to get... More this set or not. The decision then is really whether to wait for a price drop and hope the set makes it or get it now while you can still find it. If you hurry, you might be able to use some pieces for the contest mentioned earlier, but remember that Friday is the deadline, so get looking.”

The LEGO BIONICLE Warriors was a subtheme of sets that were typically larger than the standard Toa or Matoran sets, but not as intricate or vast as the Titan sets. These Warrior sets often represented significant characters or antagonists in the Bionicle storyline.
