LEGO 8880 Super Car is a Technic set released in 1994, containing 1343 pieces. The primary model builds a black sports car with yellow pin-striping featuring a rear-mounted V8 engine, 4-wheel steering, all-wheel drive, and fully independent suspension on all wheels. At 1343 pieces, it was far and away the largest set to date (since surpassed). Let's look at the feature list just to... More prove the point. Every wheel is sprung, driven, and steered. This means there is 4 wheel rack and pinion steering, all wheel drive using 3 differential gears, and 4 wheel independent double wishbone suspension.”
