Insights

A magazine gift from 2023 tied to Ninjago, Golden Dragon Jay trades on steady fan interest but was broadly distributed as a promotional, and plentiful supply plus limited unique elements and frequent Golden Dragon variants constrain its upside.

Set Facts

The paper bag pack was attached to the cover of the LEGO NINJAGO Magazine 2023 Issue 98.

“This is the third Ninjago Magazine to feature one of the Dragon forms suits of the ninja. The previous being Water Dragon! and Ninja vs. Ninja!. In the comic, Garmadon's Oni Form is incorrectly depicted as the Crystal King with wings and a different headpiece.”
