It was sold exclusively at Star Wars Celebration Anaheim held April 16–20, 2015. The model was designed by LEGO Master Builder Mark Roe of the LEGO USA Headquarters Model Shop in Enfield, Connecticut, and is also referred to as “Tatooine Mini-build (with C-3PO), Star Wars Celebration Anaheim Exclusive.”

A new and sealed Tatooine Mini Build is currently valued at around $396. The average used price is $29 for those in good overall condition. Based on current trends, this set could be valued near $414 within the next year. New and sealed listings currently range from $385 to $437.

“ego has even released a Star Wars Celebration Exclusive set called the Tatooine Mini-Build. It features 178 pieces and 1 C-3PO Minifigure. The set replicates a Moisture Farm (Lars?), a Sandcrawler, a landspeeder, and mini-builds of C-3PO, R2D2, Luke Skywalker (?), and 2... More Jawas. The set is pretty charming but there is no attempt at staying in one scale. If you happen to be in Anaheim, and have tickets to the Celebration, make sure to pick up on of these exclusives!”

For $40, you get this 178-piece set which includes a mini Sandcrawler, mini Landspeeder, and mini Lars Homestead along with a GIGANTIC moisture vaporator. It also has... More microscale versions of two jawas, C-3PO, R2-D2, and Owen Lars. Sadly, even at this scale, Beru Lars has been given the shaft. Oh, it also includes a C-3PO minifigure to go all Godzilla on the diorama.”

The LEGO Star Wars theme which was licensed and released in 1999 is based on concepts from the Star Wars franchise of films, comic books, video games, cartoon series, and other sources.
