The I Love NY Yoda minifigure was available a free promotion minifig in Toys R Us stores in Times Square New York City with the purchase of set 9493, X-wing Starfighter, and was limited to 1000 minifigs. It was distributed in conjunction with the unveiling of the largest LEGO model ever created in Times Square, the X-wing Starfighter.

The value for a new and factory sealed I Love NY Yoda is currently estimated at around $2,076. On the open market, a used set will fetch in the range of between $1,691 and $1,918 depending on the condition.

One thousand of these were distributed in conjunction with the unveiling of the largest LEGO model ever created in Times Square, the X-wing Starfighter, with a purchase of 9493 at the nearby... As this is a limited edition minifigure, of course not everybody is going to be able to obtain one, nevertheless, to Star Wars minifigure collectors (or collectors of hard to find minifigures) this is inevitably going to harbour a great deal of interest.”

“As an exclusive minifigure, this is not an easy collectable to get hold of, and is certainly one for collectors only due to the fairly hefty price online. However, if you are lucky enough to find this Yoda for a good price, do not hesitate as it really is an excellent... More minifigure in my opinion and I find the adapted T-shirt charming.”
