The Robotics Invention System V2.0 was an iteration of the LEGO Mindstorms line, preceding the NXT series. Released around the year 2001, this set was a part of the RCX series, centered around the programmable "RCX" brick, which acted as the brain of the robots. The V2.0 system came with an assortment of sensors, motors, and a wide variety of LEGO Technic parts to build various robotic models. Users could program their creations using the accompanying RoboLab or RCX code software, providing a comprehensive introduction to robotics and programming. The Robotics Invention System V2.0 expanded on the capabilities and components of its predecessor, offering more advanced building and programming possibilities for enthusiasts.
