In 2016 LEGO released 11 Juniors sets across 5 subthemes. The largest Juniors set from 2016 was 10728 Mia's Vet Clinic with a piece count of 173 and a retail price of $29.99. The current estimated value of all these Juniors sets from this year is about $391.46 which represents a 205.1% growth.

The LEGO Juniors theme is designed for children aged 4 to 7 years old and designed to introduce kids into the LEGO system from Duplo. LEGO Juniors was release in February 2014, with the tagline Easy to build and was the successor to the Bricks & More theme.

2016 LEGO Sets

2016 saw some truly iconic releases with sets from Ghostbusters and the introduction of the Nexo Knights. LEGO also released the licensed, but short-lived The Angry Birds Movie theme. However, LEGO did discontinue Legends of Chima, Pirates and also the LEGO Simpsons which only did see a couple of sets. The Creator theme really shined in 2016 with the release of the Volkswagen Beetle (10252-1) and Big Ben (10253-1). The shining star that year for investors was certainly the Ghostbusters Firehouse Headquarters and pretty much all the Speed Champions sets which have seen growth in the triple digits.
