If fellow users in the LEGO Ideas community upvote the project to 10,000 then LEGO Group has a committee which votes on whether to build the set and release it.
2017 LEGO Sets
Two films anchored 2017: The LEGO Batman Movie and The LEGO Ninjago Movie, each with extensive waves and a dedicated CMF series. BrickHeadz moved from limited releases to a full collectible line, and LEGO Boost introduced approachable coding and robotics. Several short-lived lines from prior years, including the BIONICLE reboot and Mixels, were no longer active.
