About LEGO Marvel Super Heroes Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 2

LEGO Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 is a subtheme of Marvel initially released in 2017 based on the film Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 produced by Marvel Studios and distributed by Walt Disney Studios. The sets are based on the film's plot in which Peter Quill and his fellow Guardians are hired by the Sovereign to protect their precious batteries from invaders. When it is discovered that Rocket has stolen the items they were sent to guard, the Sovereign dispatch their armada to search for vengeance.

The LEGO Marvel Super Heroes theme is based on the characters created by Marvel Comics. Originally Marvel was a subtheme of the LEGO Super Heroes theme but was later separated into its own theme. Over time, sets in the Marvel Super Heroes theme includes most characters and situations released to the marvel Universe from films to the comics to TV series.
