1222-2 1x1 Round Bricks was a System i Leg set released in 1955. It was released in four different colors including blue, red, white, and yellow, and was only released in Denmark, Norway and Sweden.

The type of bricks used for this set changed during the production time. Solid Stud/Full Base, these 1x1 round bricks have a cylinder shape, with LEGO printed on the stud on top. These were produced from 1954 to 1965. Solid Stud/Tapered Base, these 1x1 round bricks have a square tapered base, and LEGO printed on the stud on top. These were produced from 1964 to 1978. Hollow Stud/Tapered Base, these 1x1 round bricks have a square tapered base, but with a hole in the middle of the stud, no room for LEGO. These were produced from circa 1979 to the present. Based on current trends, this set could be valued near $48 within the next year.
1x1 Round Bricks (1222-2) is an exceptionally old and rare LEGO set. It has not been available online or in retail stores in good/new condition for over 2 years. Due to its rarity, the estimated value in sealed condition of $45.14 may understate its true worth, assuming one can even be found for sale. About System i Leg Supplemental

Starting in the 1950s LEGO began individual parts sales, a practice that began with the Ferguson Tracktor in 1951. LEGO would supply dealers with wooden parts boxes and refill packs. These individual part sales would continue, at least in some markets, into the late 1950’s.

Supplemental consists of 68 sets that ran from 1955 to 1959. As of today, 214-4 Windows and Doors Retailer Pack is the most valuable Supplemental set with an estimated new/factory sealed value of $805.
