LEGO 1306 VW Garage was a 45 piece System i Leg set released in 1957. It contains a garage and two 260 VW Beetles. While the colors of these were different they were typically blue and green. Included was a 1x8 white printed sign that had different printing based on the region and printed on it either GARAGE VW, SERVIZIO VW, VW GARAGE, VW SERVICE or just VW LEGO.
VW Garage is an extremely old and very rare LEGO set. We have not seen set 1306-1 currently for sale online or in the hundreds of retail stores in good/new condition in over 1,356 days. Because of the rarity of this hard to find set the current estimated value of $4,093.28 might actually be much lower than the true value, assuming this set can be found for sale.Because VW Garage is a very old set from 1957, finding it in a sealed and good condition might be difficult thus making the true value even that much higher.

About System i Leg Town Plan

LEGO Town Plan was a theme introduced in 1958 and lasted until 1966 and was under the System i Leg (System of Play) theme. The theme was unveiled at the Nuremberg Toy Fair in February 1955. LEGO Town Plan originally consisted of the existing 700 series LEGO Mursten sets, several new HO 1:87 scale accessories, and a vinyl play mat. However, over the next several years the system was expanded with both new building sets.

Town Plan consists of 30 sets that ran from 1955 to 1959. As of today, 1308 Fire Station is the most valuable Town Plan set with an estimated new/factory sealed value of $5,593.
