LEGO 1310 ESSO Filling Station was a 96 piece System i Leg set released in 1956. It includes an HO 1:87 scale Bedford ESSO Tank Truck. It came into production in Denmark, Sweden and Norway. In 1957 it came into production as #310 in central Europe.
ESSO Filling Station is an extremely old and very rare LEGO set. We have not seen set 1310-1 currently for sale online or in the hundreds of retail stores in good/new condition in over 2,331 days. Because of the rarity of this hard to find set the current estimated value of $2,934.42 might actually be much lower than the true value assuming this set can be found for sale.Because ESSO Filling Station is a very old set from 1956, finding it in a sealed and good condition might be difficult thus making the true value even that much higher.

Back then, LEGO bricks were still combined with other elements: the taps and the Esso sign do not have knobs and the beautiful Bedford tank truck... About System i Leg Town Plan

LEGO Town Plan was a theme introduced in 1958 and lasted until 1966 and was under the System i Leg (System of Play) theme. The theme was unveiled at the Nuremberg Toy Fair in February 1955. LEGO Town Plan originally consisted of the existing 700 series LEGO Mursten sets, several new HO 1:87 scale accessories, and a vinyl play mat. However, over the next several years the system was expanded with both new building sets.

Town Plan consists of 30 sets that ran from 1955 to 1959. As of today, 1308 Fire Station is the most valuable Town Plan set with an estimated new/factory sealed value of $5,262.
