Set Value (New/Sealed)

This represents the current new/sealed value of the set Town Plan Board Small Plastic since January 1956. Medium accuracy
LEGO 1200-2 Town Plan Board Small Plastic is a System i Leg Town Plan set released in 1956, consisting of 1 piece. It was sold in Northern Europe and included a small town plan board made from stiff Masonite fiberboard with a soft plastic surface, similar in layout to the cardboard version. The board features seven town blocks, with the gas station block oriented to face west. In Central Europe, the same board was also issued in 1956 as set 200A, and in some catalogs it appears as 200M. Based on current trends, this set could be valued near $328 within the next year.
Town Plan Board Small Plastic (1200-2) is an exceptionally old and rare LEGO set. It has not been available online or in retail stores in good/new condition for over 2 years. Due to its rarity, the estimated value in sealed condition of $309.72 may understate its true worth, assuming one can even be found for sale. Since this set was released in 1956, finding it sealed and well-preserved is exceptionally difficult—making complete sets with intact boxes museum-grade collectibles.
There are currently no new/sealed listings available for Town Plan Board Small Plastic at this time.

Brighton Toy and Model Museum
“This older, non-folding version of the baseboard has the "old" version of the layout, appears to be stenciled, and has an almost home-made feel to it. Street blocks are not rigidly aligned, street blocks are by default "grassed" in patterned green, and – horrors! – a zebra... More crossing actually crosses a road at a slight angle!”

About System i Leg Town Plan

LEGO Town Plan was a theme introduced in 1958 and lasted until 1966 and was under the System i Leg (System of Play) theme. The theme was unveiled at the Nuremberg Toy Fair in February 1955. LEGO Town Plan originally consisted of the existing 700 series LEGO Mursten sets, several new HO 1:87 scale accessories, and a vinyl play mat. However, over the next several years the system was expanded with both new building sets.

Town Plan consists of 30 sets that ran from 1955 to 1959. As of today, 1306 VW Garage is the most valuable Town Plan set with an estimated new/factory sealed value of $4,671.
