“Not too many small LEGO space vehicles had a fully-enclosed environment with the big hinged windshield part. The trans-green color was fairly rare to boot. The six big balloon tires ensured a smooth ride over all surfaces. Overall, while all the neat pieces and detail drew... More me to this set, it has a nice overall look and it fun to drive around.”

“This is another mobile lab type vehicle, which means I’m pre-disposed to like it! Lots of fun and cool parts in a small set. mall enclosed six-wheeler with storage containers, a deployable computer station in the rear, blue astronaut, and four accessories.”

About Space Classic

Classic Space began in 1978, the same year as the LEGO minifigure, and it was one of the first three themes to use it, along with Castle and Town. The astronauts came in red and white at first, with yellow, black and blue added in the 1980s, all in the same suit with the planet logo on the chest and an air tank on the back. Unlike almost every space line after it, Classic Space had no villains, only explorers with rovers, rockets, lunar bases and grey crater baseplates.

Classic consists of 90 sets that ran from 1978 to 2015. As of today, 926 Command Center is the most valuable Classic set with an estimated new/factory sealed value of $4,799.
