“This is a really good set. I wish LEGO would make more sets like this in their regular lines so we didn't have to pay a licensing fee for brick based sets. A lot of sets these days have a hollowness to them which is a turn-off. It's economical to produce and sell, but less... More exciting to build and play with.”

“Looking at it from an AFOL's perspective rather than that of a Minecraft fan, it's not really a display set but to me, it's one of the more appealing Minecraft sets by virtue of its colour scheme. There are no less than 120 2xn bricks, around 120 dark orange parts, seven 8x8... More and 8x16 plates and a plethora of other useful parts in earthy colours. It's therefore a great parts pack.”

About Minecraft Minifig-scale

The LEGO Minecraft theme is based on the video game Minecraft and a collaboration between Mojang and the LEGO Group. Sets in this theme were all based on the traditional LEGO minifigure scale. Minecraft is a sandbox indie game originally created by Notch (Markus Persson) and later developed and published by Mojang / Microsoft. The official release occurred in 2013 with the first set, Minecraft: Micro World: The Forest, released under LEGO Ideas and was created by Mojang through the LEGO CUUSOO program in 2012. At MineCon 2013, LEGO announced brand new minifigure-scale Minecraft sets.

Minifig-scale was introduced in 2014 and currently consists of 129 sets. As of today, 21137 The Mountain Cave is the most valuable Minifig-scale set with an estimated new/factory sealed value of $1,824.
