“The inclusion of Effie, one of the new default skins, is a refreshing change from the usual Steve and Alex characters, showcasing LEGO’s effort to diversify the character options. The overall design is colorful, with the cherry blossom tree being a nice nod to Minecraft's recent updates. The small details, like the chest with food items, the picnic blanket, and the pen for the animals, enhance the set’s interactive potential.”
 

About Minecraft Minifig-scale

The LEGO Minecraft theme is based on the video game Minecraft and a collaboration between Mojang and the LEGO Group. Sets in this theme were all based on the traditional LEGO minifigure scale. Minecraft is a sandbox indie game originally created by Notch (Markus Persson) and later developed and published by Mojang / Microsoft. The official release occurred in 2013 with the first set, Minecraft: Micro World: The Forest, released under LEGO Ideas and was created by Mojang through the LEGO CUUSOO program in 2012. At MineCon 2013, LEGO announced brand new minifigure-scale Minecraft sets.

Minifig-scale was introduced in 2014 and currently consists of 129 sets. As of today, 21137 The Mountain Cave is the most valuable Minifig-scale set with an estimated new/factory sealed value of $1,769.
