“However, given the way that the sword is combined into the rest of the landscape in 21244 The Sword Outpost, it’s not complete and instead resembles a shorter blade or knife when removed. Still, it fits nicely into a hand and could be expanded into a full sword with an... More additional copy of the set or your own pieces. When embedded in the rest of the model, you can stand minifigures on top and the rear is otherwise undecorated.”

“The LEGO Minecraft Sword Outpost (21244) is an exciting set with 427 pieces, including a striking sword-shaped fortress and six diverse minifigures: Ally, Sentinel Soldier, Pig, Guardian Warrior, Skeleton, and Creeper. Its creative details, like the collapsible wall feature triggered by the Creeper and the interactive waterfall and gold ore elements”

About Minecraft Minifig-scale

The LEGO Minecraft theme is based on the video game Minecraft and a collaboration between Mojang and the LEGO Group. Sets in this theme were all based on the traditional LEGO minifigure scale. Minecraft is a sandbox indie game originally created by Notch (Markus Persson) and later developed and published by Mojang / Microsoft. The official release occurred in 2013 with the first set, Minecraft: Micro World: The Forest, released under LEGO Ideas and was created by Mojang through the LEGO CUUSOO program in 2012. At MineCon 2013, LEGO announced brand new minifigure-scale Minecraft sets.

Minifig-scale was introduced in 2014 and currently consists of 129 sets. As of today, 21137 The Mountain Cave is the most valuable Minifig-scale set with an estimated new/factory sealed value of $1,717.
Summary

Players build and battle at the Minecraft® Sword Outpost
Give a Minecraft® player aged 8 and up an iconic diamond sword – on a giant scale! LEGO® Minecraft The Sword Outpost (21244) uses the precious weapon as the design for a supercool base where kids can build a chill-out zone and take part in explosive battles.

Play and display model of a diamond sword
Kids build a giant diamond sword base into the side of a mountain and defend it against attacks by hostile mobs. The base includes a table, cookie and a jukebox on which they can ‘play’ a record. Outside, Sentinel Soldier and Guardian Warrior figures stand guard. Further firepower is provided by 2 shooters located at the front of the base. Hostile mobs include a Creeper™ and a skeleton. Friendly mobs include a pig and an allay, which features foil wings. A lever at the bottom of the tower triggers an explosion that collapses part of the structure. For added digital fun, the LEGO Builder app features intuitive zoom and...
