- The Seinfeld set was officially announced on July 5th 2021 which marked the anniversary of the airing of the fist Seinfeld episode on July 5th, 1989.
- The fan designer of the set for LEGO Ideas, Brent Waller, submitted his idea to the LEGO Ideas platform 2 years ago, for the 30th anniversary of the show. The project gathered the 10,000 votes needed to be considered for review, and 2 years later, it turned into an official set.
- Early access to the set was available on July 21st, 2021 to LEGO VIP members.
- In addition to Jerry's apartment, the set includes a comedy stage used for the opening and closing TV spots (and sometimes in-between) and accessories inspired by the show, including a statue, muffin top, The Marble Rye, Prognosis Negative videotape, Commando 8 air conditioner, pretzels that are making me thirsty and Festivus pole.
- Seinfeld was designed by LEGO designer Cesar Soares.
