250-2 1:87 Esso Bedford Tanker was a Classic HO 1:87 scale vehicle set released in 1956. The first version of the Bedford LEGO Truck had a scale of 1:80. It was a red Bedford Esso Tank truck and sold only in Denmark in a carton box. The international version of this Esso Bedford Tanke came in two different models: model 1 with flashing light at the front, and model 2 with the flashing light at the side. About System i Leg HO 1:87 Vehicles

The LEGO HO 1:87 Vehicles subtheme, also referred to as LEGO small vehicles where plastic sets released in the 1950's and 1960's to compliment LEGO sets which could be used to build houses, gas stations, garages, shops and more. These vehicles sets remailed in production for almost ten years until they were replaced by LEGOLAND vehicles in the early 1970s. LEGO made the these small 1:87 scale vehicles until around 1969.
