“This set retailed for $2.00 (in 1998 dollars) and it has quite a bit to it for such a small little set. Starting with the box and instructions, they are fairly simple. The box show the contents of the box in what appears to be mid-battle, which is effective. You have to do... More quite a bit of unfolding to access the entire institution manual, but it can still be folded back up for display. It is also worth mentioning there is a sticker of a 6, but I do not believe it is used in the build.”

About Castle Fright Knights

The Fright Knights where part of LEGO’s dive into the fantasy realm for the Castle theme. The Fright Knights faction of sets featured dragons and witches and a dark sorceress. A giant bat emblem was the crest for Basil the Bat Lord and his forces of fright. New elements for this theme included bats, chains, crystal balls, and Basil's winged helmet.

Fright Knights consists of 17 sets that ran from 1997 to 1998. As of today, 6097 Night Lord's Castle is the most valuable Fright Knights set with an estimated new/factory sealed value of $795.
