LEGO 30029 Pudsey Bear is a Creator Promotional set released in 2011, containing 95 pieces. The set builds Pudsey Bear, the mascot of the BBC Children in Need charity, in a small brick-built display model. It was sold in selected ASDA supermarkets and LEGO Stores in the UK, and was also offered as a free promotional item through LEGO Stores and LEGO.com with qualifying purchases. At least £1 from each retail sale was donated to the BBC Children in Need Appeal.

“Pudsey was a Creator set released in late October/early November 2011 by LEGO, to support BBC's Children In Need, and was only ever available in England. To coincide with Children In Need this year, it has been re-released. The model is designed pretty well, and looks nice,... More even if the resemblance to Pudsey is minimal.”

About Creator Promotional

The LEGO Creator theme consists of a variety of subthemes that revolve around sets that focus on buildings, creatures, vehicles, robots and recently more specialized sets such as botanical and even the Chinese New Year. Many of these sets have fallen under the 3-in-1 label which include instructions in a single set to provide multiple alternative models. Originally created in 2001 with a focus on larger bucket sets, the LEGO Creator theme has expanded outside just bricks to later include minifigures.

Promotional was introduced in 2001 and currently consists of 46 sets. As of today, 4278 Large Tub is the most valuable Promotional set with an estimated new/factory sealed value of $93.
